yoga classes

Hatha Yoga: Hatha is an ancient lineage of Yoga that incorporates the practice of Asana (Physical Postures), Pranayama (Breathing Techniques) and Mudras (Hand Gestures). It also incorporates Mantra (Chanting) and Meditation (Mindfulness) to help deepen your spiritual path. Taught in a safe, comfortable, nurturing environment and open to all those who seek peace of mind and heart. Suitable for Beginners and those new to Yoga.

Jivamukti Yoga: This asana practice is centred around the Five Tenets of Jivamukti Yoga: Ahimsa (the primary ethic of yoga); Bhakti (devotion, chanting); Dhyana (meditation); Nada (sound & music) and Shastra (yoga philosophy and scripture study). This is an all-levels inclusive practice, with opportunities to modify according to your needs. Jivamukti Yoga is a balanced practice that you can take off your mat and extend into the world.

PreNatal Yoga: PreNatal Yoga is the best self care for mama and baby! Enjoy 6 luscious weeks of connecting with yourself and baby in a safe and supportive space. This class requires registration directly with Jaylyn at innerswim.com What to Expect:
Nourishing, restorative prenatal yoga, blended with sound healing, specialized breathing practices & meditations.
Held in a circle of sharing and mutual support. No experience in yoga is required. All are welcome. You’ll always remember the time you spent unwinding and bonding with baby during this special and transformative time!

Restorative Gentle Yoga: This is a gentle style of Yoga that encourages physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Appropriate for all levels, Restorative Yoga is practiced at a slow pace, focusing on long holds, stillness, and deep breathing. Please bring your mat and props (cushion, pillow, blanket) to help achieve maximum comfort and relaxation.

Restorative Yin Yoga: Restorative Yin is a slow and meditative practice focusing on deep stretches and stillness, bringing the body and mind into deep relaxation and meditation. Poses are held for longer periods of time, allowing students to connect with the breath and Self before transitioning into an extended Savasana. A wonderful, self-care style class to incorporate especially if you enjoy a fast-paced flow (Yang) as it provides balance by focusing on deeper areas in the body and promotes rejuvenation. Please bring a blanket, mat and props to help further your relaxation.

Sivananda Yoga: Sivananda is a practice of Hatha Yoga – an invigorating, yet meditative style of classical Yoga. In this class you’ll be guided through Mantra (Chanting), Pranayama (Breathing Techniques), Sun Salutations (Sequence of Postures), Yoga Asanas (Steady Postures) and Savasana (Auto-Suggestion Relaxation). Sivananda Yoga is open to all levels, whether you’re a Beginner or Advanced student you will be offered variations throughout the class to support your level of yoga practice. Om Nama Shivaya!

Yoga Nidra Meditation: A guided yogic practice that promotes a state of deep relaxation; going from the outside in; to use the mind’s amazing imaginative capacity to create a space where one is able to both physically and mentally rest and relax; to leave the waking state, go past the dreaming state to Deep Sleep, while remaining fully aware and awake.

Through a regular and sincere Yoga-Nidra practice over time, our mind becomes one-pointed. We are able to focus on the images being presented in the practice and react in our own ways to them. We will work with what we call the samkalpa (or resolution) — it is a determination to become something, or do something in your life — a seed which you create and then sow in the bed of your mind. Your samkalpa should relate to your spiritual and self-transformative practice. Please bring a mat, blanket and pillow to remain comfortable during this guided meditation.

yoga workshops

Hand Mudra Yoga: Mudras are hand gestures that assist in the connection between body, mind and spirit. They are an ancient part of Yoga and have been native to every culture on Earth. By connecting the fingers and palms to each other or to other body parts, we are able to stimulate Energy Centres (Chakras) and Meridians (Nadis) within the body. The result is an increase in balance, vitality and overall well-being. Accompanied by Sanskrit Beej Seed Mantras, which are sacred sounds to invoke energy residing in the Chakras. Followed by Meditation and Savasana to allow the benefits of the Mantra and Mudra Practice to cultivate deep within. Taught by Certified Hand Mudra Yoga Teacher Prema.

Sacred Woman Workshops: Join Wild Yogini & Mentor Jaylyn and guest Yoginis for a rich and healing yoga circle to support and uplift our Feminine nature. Music, movement, meditations and more, will leave you feeling nourished and reconnected to your wild wisdom.
